Welcome to the Memphis Housing Resource Center
The Memphis Housing Resource Center (MHRC) fosters new home ownership in the Memphis
SMSA by helping low and moderate income individuals understand the
complexities of buying and maintaining a home. Counseling is available for
potential homebuyers and is designed to provide specific knowledge in the
following areas:
Home Purchasing Process
Financial and Credit Management
Home Ownership Counseling
Basic Home Maintenance Training
In addition to providing support to external clients, MHRC also serves those
individuals seeking home ownership assistance from Community Development
Programs offered by he City of Memphis Division of HCD.
MHRC offers Pre and Post Bankruptcy Counseling. As a Non-Profit credit counseling organization, MHRC is in an unique position to educate consumers to layout their options, and to provide them with the information they need to make an educated decision as they consider bankruptcy as an alternative.
Our hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and 10
a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
